Meet Anunda

A woman with short, spiky hair wearing glasses, a black sleeveless top, patterned black pants, and black sneakers with white soles, sitting on a gray armchair with a white pillow, smiling at the camera. There is a notebook and pen on a round black table in front of her.

I am a therapist who combines warmth, depth, and evidence-based care.

Many clients choose to work with me because they feel genuinely understood, often saying “you get me”.

They experience therapy as a non-judgmental, safe space where open-hearted curiosity can develop.

Clients are often surprised by the depth of personal insight that emerges through Internal Family Systems therapy, describing sessions as meaningful and deeply impactful.

Professional and Creative Background

I have a background as a visual artist, which enhances my creative capacity and supports an integrative approach to healing alongside Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.

I've developed and facilitated a range of art-therapeutic group programs while working in a crisis centre for children in Sri Lanka, and other groups in Australia exploring themes such as ambiguous grief and loss, and other strengths-based, mindfulness-focused themes.

Alongside my private practice, I currently work in the not-for-profit sector as a senior counsellor, supporting individuals and couples through complex emotional and relational challenges.
